SUMMER
ACTIVITIES AT HAIG SKI

| There are numerous activities to
try, all within a 15-20 minute drive of Farmhouse La Reblais
by Morzine/ Les Gets. Try a different one each day or stick
to
your favourite! We will take you by
minibus to any activities, however if you are driving to the
Alps, it will give you even greater flexibility. |
| Mountain Biking: moutainchains.com This
is an Internationally renowned area for mountain biking.
The chair lifts used in winter also run in the summer
season, enabling you to hook your bike onto the lift.
Justin is available to show you the best routes to take
and also where the best mountain watering holes can be
found! Lifts are open from June to September. There are
rides for all levels of fitness, Morzine, Les Gets and
Les Crossets have downhill courses and Chatel and Morgins
have both Downhill and Freeride courses |

| A range of Trek, Full Suspension or Hard Tail Bikes are
available to hire. |

| Walking: This beautiful area provides unlimited walking
with June, July and August being the best months for viewing
the numerous Alpine flowers and also a chance to see the varied
wildlife, maybe a Golden Eagle or Chamois, which are native
to this area. The cable cars and chair lifts allow you to gain
height quickly. We can advise you on the best tracks and trails
to take. There are several good walks starting from La Reblais
and in particular the one to Mont Ouzon where you are rewarded
with a panoramic view of Lake Geneva to the north and Mont Blanc
southwards. It is quite spectacular. |

| Water Sports: The River Dranse offers some exciting
white water with grade 3-5 rapids. The rafting centre, 15 minutes
away, provides qualified guides, tuition and equipment for the

| At Evian, Lake Geneva which is 40 miles long by 5 miles wide
is a beautiful spot from which to windsurf, sail or water ski.

| Swimming: There are large outdoor pools in Chatel and
Morzine, both of which have childrens pools and slides. Swimming
in the crystal clear water of Lake Geneva at Evian is also extremely
refreshing on those hot summer days! There is also an activity
lake near Bernex which boasts an aerial slide. |
